"Sugar, Sugar" is the real-life hit of the fictional American Rock Band The Archies. The band was formed in 1968 on the pages of Archie Comics and would later get a TV Show. The lineup pictured on the shirt shows Archie on guitar, Veronica on keys, Betty on Tamborine, Reggie on bass, and Jughead on drums. Many consider The Archies to be the first bubblegum rock band. But, if not they were one of the early influencers with their song "Sugar, Sugar".
